Hey, I go a boarding military school in Camden SC, and I am trying to get to the event this weekend.  I had everything planned weeks ago, costumes, weapons, etc.  Then my ride, my best friends mom, hurt her hip and had to get surgery, and now i am short a ride.  Is there anyone who might be able to pick me up somewhere close by?  I am trying to get a ride either to Greenville or Charlotte, since they are the closest popular towns near Kings Mountain, but I need someone to pick me up there, and drop me off after.  I can pay for the gas, if totally necessary, but I am short on a lot of cash.  Please respond quickly if you have anything you can help with.
Thanks,
Cressler

If you can get to Greenville, we can get you to site.  I work near the junction of I-85 and I-385, let me know and we can make arrangements.

We'll actually be passing through Columbia(coming up from around Charleston)...but will be doing so early on Friday, and have a few other stops to make...

...and will likely not be heading back til Monday morning.

If you can find a ride there, I can bring you back on Sunday night.

It turned out that I am unable to go...right at the last minute, my school said that I have to stay to  help run Battalion Staff, which is similiar to School President, and besides that, I couldn't get a ride to either Greenville or Charlotte, or Columbia.  My original rides ended up canceling on me on Thursday, so it seems after all my planning to go to this event, the fates were against me.  But I am not too depressed...I will be able to make the next one for sure, do to it being on one of my school breaks.

Thank You so much guys,
Next time,
Cressler

**and I am still going to be talking on the forums til then.  does anyone know if I can still set up a character so that I can online roleplay?**

Sorry, but until you have a character on file (which sadly cannot be created on-line...yet), you cannot roleplay on the boards.  however you are welcome to post as much as you please on the OOP (Out of Play) forums.

So unless I hear differently I will assume that you do not need the weapons you ordered for this event (for you or your friend).

Actually, I was hoping that you could hold on too them until the one in April.  I am really sorry for this, and I had every intention of going.  That ride canceling on me at the last minute made me REALLY pissed.

I'm sorry you couldn't make the event.  After speaking with you briefly on the phone, I was looking forward to meeting you at sight.  If there is anything you need for the next event, feel free to contact me again.
