Its been awhile since ive been to game but I live in VA and i got married and I JUST got the vacation time to come. Anyway...point is... i took the 8th and 11th off so i oculd come to that event.. my husband would like to come but want to moster the whole event.  If he does this will he still get his next event where he will pick his PC free? He basically wants to get a good feel for the game before he picks his class.

He will. Monstering doesn't count toward your first event as a PC.

Having just monstered my first event... I will say that if he has a chance to do a large mod... jump on it.

was definitely the best way for me to get my feet wet...and test my ability to withstand a full on bench collision.  Grin

full on bench collision? owwie...
I monstered and I ended up having a character that I can bring back-i was a slaver's niece. apparently i did good roleplay, so it was a confidence booster, and great experience because you don't have to worry about lives when you monster! Cheesy

The bench called 20 splinter on me.... but my shins flashed it....

I wasn't ready to be a bench warmer at that time.

Limitless respawn is a very fun and carthardic way to spend one's wee hours on a Sunday morn...

I cannot begin to tell ya'll how utterly and completely stoked I am to be there for the full time this coming gather.

Swords shall be swung... let both bench and monster tremble....  Wink
