and three figures (pp) enter the tavern.  The two females are of similar height, though quite dissimilar in features; the male is taller, and human.  All three show signs of travel in the accumulated dirt on their boots and hems.   As their human companion locates a table, the two girls duck into the kitchen, returning shortly with three steaming cups of some warm liquid, talking quietly.

"Drunk in public my foot!" the elf mutters, passing one cup to the human known as Oneiric before sitting and taking a cautious sip of her own.  "It's always possible, I suppose, that someone slipped something into my waterskin, but...I try to keep close watch on it, even when I'm on the trail."  She turns to her gold-horned friend.  "What do you make of the whole thing, now that you're more awake?"

Ari shrugs and stares bemusedly into her cup, " I wasn't there...exactly...the first go 'round. I was pretty upset by the townguard but I guess in retrospect he was nicer than some in his position."  She sighs. "Dead. End."

"Looks that way..."  Moss shrugs sympathetically.  "Any idea what you want to do next?"

"Oddly enough, I'd expect that answer from him before I'd expect to hear it from you..." Moss chuckles, jerking her head in the human's direction.  "Personally, I was hoping to get some training in between now and the next gather, but...it was far easier to do back when my instructor was still around.  Guess I should be looking into finding a new one, huh?"

Ari merely smirks to the elf.  Her expression turns introspective and she absent-mindedly tugs at a golden horn.

"Well, there are plenty of healers around, and that is the career path I'm heading toward," replies the human.  "Considering how much time we've spent in the guild building, it shouldn't be hard to find someone willing to help us with spells."  Oneiric ponders a moment.  "And its not like we don't get enough weapon practice, with all the invasions of the town, right?"

The elf chuckles.  "Yes, although your technique could still use a bit of work...let us know if you ever decide to learn how to hit harder...or better," she replies with a wink.  "As for the other suggestion...it might certainly be worth a try.  We've certainly had as much or more exposure to them than to the rest of the town, at any rate."  Moss turns to their horned companion and adds, "Care to join us in a little excursion, once we're done with our drinks?"

She blinks for a moment, "eh? Oh. Sure, ok."

After they finish their drinks, the trio gathers their belongings and exit the tavern, heading in the direction of the Healers' Guild.
