First I want to say thank you to Mike, Kenneth and Brooks and crew for volunteering to take a tavern shift.  Now I’m asking for other players to step up and help get the rest of the shifts covered. 

Folks say that our tavern is the best but it takes help from you players to make it that way.  Michele and I (even when I am not sick) cannot do it without help.  We don’t want to shut the tavern down during certain hours due to lack of help, but that is becoming the only option; not just the September event but during other events as well.  Please volunteer to work in the tavern.

I put in a numerous amount of hours before the event even begins and then I usually work about 40+ hours over the course of a weekend.  I love the players and you always show me a ton of respect.   

I am begging folks to please sign up and help Michele in September.  It is unfortunate my chemo falls on the day before the event.  I had chemo this last Thursday and Sunday evening was the first time I was able to get out of bed.  After treatment I become extremely weak and too nauseous to do anything and that is even with good meds.     

Some way or the other, I will be at the September event but I know that I won’t be worth anything. I bend over backwards to do anything I can to make the players happy.  I am calling in all the favors that folks owe me and then some, to please help Michele in September.

FRIDAY:
1 person – 2 PM to 6 PM - Kenneth
1 person – 5 PM to 9 PM - Kenneth
1 person – 9 PM to 1 AM - Kenneth

SATURDAY:
2 people - 9 AM to 1 PM - KATE * AMANDA
2-3 people – 1 PM to 5 PM - BROOKS AND CREW
1 person – 5 PM to 9 PM
1 person – 7 PM to 11 PM

SUNDAY:
1 person - 9 AM to 1 PM -  MIKE FARB
1 person - 11 AM to 3 PM
2 people - 3 PM to 7 PM

I'll help out saturday 5-9, but I'm asking people to either come help or pick me up (since I'll be in play) so I won't get squished by monsters on my way out. I posted something on the Facebook group to help get aid.

This might be interchangeable with breakfast that day-once I hear back from Theresa.

5-9 with manda please Smiley but manda, lemme know if something changes, cause I may change my shift. depends on the entertainment responsibilities I have as well.

Heads up for Mitzi! Elizabeth from back at the beginning of the season is hoping to return this September event. She's going to be monstering rather than playing, and she has said that she's more than willing to do Tavern shifts-I've told her to make an account on the forum and give you guys some times to help firm up the schedule a bit.

I do want to thank everyone that is taking a shift, it takes a load of my mind... but I'm not comfortable putting someone down for a shift with "that can change" or "it depends". 

I really need to KNOW someone is coming in for a shift...  so once you know for sure what shift you can and are going to work, please let me know and I will fill that slot with your name.

Just letting you all know unless we get some folks to sign up for shifts at the event, this is what it's looking like.  We may not have dinner service on Friday night or Saterday night and the tavern will close for all service Sunday at 1 PM. 

Thank you again for those who have signed up!  You will be a huge help.

Pam and I plan on helping in the Tavern this event, but with bring newbies I have no idea what shifts will work out...

we are both familar with the tavern.
