Not sure

who all I talked to last event about my situation. But for the rest of this season, and maybe more depending when things happen I will not be attending any events.
My grandfather (on dad's side) has melanoma, and the docs give him until the end of October to live. I am spending pretty much every moment that i am awake with him (except when nature calls). And if thats not bad enough, my grandmother (mom's side) is suffering from dementia brought on by Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's. Im not entirely sure how bad dementia can get, because I have never known anyone with it before.
I will keep everyone updating as I can (if people want to be updated)

I'll get the Knights' prayer cadre on it, bro. Let me know if there's anything we can do for you.

sorry peach. spend the time with your grand father and your grand mother. I can even begin to describe what happens when dementia and alizemers sets in. Got a grandmother going through that currently....late stage though and it has been rough. Just remember the good days my friend. That will get you through it all.

This is probably the worst (and hardest) post I will ever have to put here, but it seems that my grandfather is not doing good. He is actually on the downward slope to the end. He has told me that he can feel the heavenly father ( for those not religious, sorry) calling him home. Got an update from the doctor (who is being a really nice, and helpful person) saying that the cancer has spread rapidly, and the original time frame of Halloween was not correct.
With saying that, my grandfather has told me that he wants to be buried in his home town of Potsdam Germany. So on Tuesday, my family and I will be flying to Germany with him, and setting up the funeral arrangements.
I will keep this updated as much as possible as the situation becomes less of a struggle to type (cant really see the screen for typos through tear soaked eyes).

We'll be keeping you and your family in our prayers. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love. Keep remembering all the good times you have with him, and remind him of all your loving memories while you can.

Gerald, you have my greatest sympathy. Knowing that you're losing someone to cancer is rough, I've been there. Catch me on Facebook or call me if you need anything.

Update
Just got through the airport security here in Berlin. Its almost 0330. Going through customs here was alot shorter than I had predicted. Only took 2 hours (last time took over 7 hours). We are driving to Potsdam when we wake up (only about 42 kilometers from Berlin).
On a side note, my grandfather thanks everyone for the support you are giving me. He told me to keep you guys (and gals) close, because as he put it, y'all seem like family.
Will keep updating as seen fit to.
Thanks for all the messages here and on facebook, and thank you all for your support in this time of despair. I cant wait to get back, and get back to the game I have loved for so long.
PS--- not sure why, but facebook no work over here. It might say im online, but for some reason its not showing me the homepage.
