Stupid can hurt later. We've got gargoyles to kill

woopwoop! I get to make the first post! We haven't done one of these in a couple events, I think, too. So yay!

The major highlights or funny things I would say would be (not all in order);

1. All the Alphonse drama. Great roleplay, everyone. It got real intense, and that's my favorite kind of roleplay. Smiley Almost cried, honestly
2. Coming back to the guild, and finding out the porch was proscribed against... Sampan? "You gotta be kidding me...dammit, this is the last thing we need!"
3. "Who votes we jump Macavoy the minute he gets in here?"
4. Rax is the yellow ranger, Brian's elf is the blue ranger, and Cassette can be the every other color ranger! Go, go power rangers! Cheesy
5. After giving the physical description of Cassette glowing, she was not happy that people thought she was pregnant. her entire BODY was glowing. Human light source, anyone? Came in handy for the security system/trap game. Grin
6. All the rangers/druid-y people using their speaks with animals, wasting it on an epic packet turtle. A female one, that apparently dislikes when anything attacks her friends, and head butts anything to get too close to them. Including sliders! Cheesy
And the hilarity that ensued when someone lifted a hand to the turtle. "Get the @&*$ away from my turtle!"
7. Why do we love the turtle? 500 body, immune to.. a lot, and a toughness of ten. Hellz yeah.
8. "Cassette, maybe this'll cheer ya up. Have some candy."
"Rax... is it safe?"
"Just try some."
"....mmm!"
"It's the wind mare droppings."
"....*gags*"
"Well at least it put a smile on your face!"

9. "I'll shrink your sphincter with an ice storm!!"
10. the conversations that happened on the HG porch... oh lord.
11. The epic trap testing game was epic. Just sayin. Wink

that's all I can remember at the moment, with all the lack of sleep. Great event, everyone! Can't wait for All Hallows!!!

Also, the potluck was AMAZING. Thanks to everyone who brought something, it was all delicious! Cheesy Hope everyone liked the ziti and rice! <3

2: The Quesadilla Run-Bear knows what I mean.
3: The Fire Spinning! You did a great job.
4: Mama's Girls ran away with the feast!
5: "What did you decorate the table with?!"
"Well this one was on my back and this one on my hips and this one..."
6: "MIKA! I am *trying* to be good!"-More than three people said this to me....
7: Jeremy's chuckle during the 'Jingle Bell' jokes.
8: Some of the people new to me did *amazing* jobs! The guy all in white-sword and all! (Sorry I can't remember your name) Silver, Morgan(sp? My dwarfy friend!) And more.
9: Saturday breakfast, thanks to Kate and Elizabeth, we made a lot of good food.
10: And while I'm there, EVERYONE who helped tavern this event, either directly in the kitchen or by bringing food. THANK YOU.
11: Khazad's compliment shall shine in my wee gypsy heart forevermore.

- "Pooh's Corner"
- "Hey you guys, let's take some sticks in there!"  Best.  Idea.  Ever.  Figures it would come from the dog (I mean, wolf).
- Discussing magical theory with Brian's Frost Elf, and discovering we have a mutual acquaintance from way back when.
- Losing an ear not once, not twice, but THREE times.  (I'm not really sure this is a good thing, since it means people were hitting me in the head, but it was funny.)  I'm glad the packet that took one off hit the ear and not my face, at least.
- Josh annihilating the Sunday morning goblins in his underwear.  Poor Chris...
- Getting pumped full of Cure potions so I could keep picking people up.
- Potluck success!  Great idea, Teresa.  Too bad you couldn't be there!
- So many new players!  Awesome to see you all, and see some returning folks from the last event.

-Discovering that if Emerald ever decided to become the seafaring type it wouldn't surprise most people.
-Watching the newbie mod come together.
-Seeing old friends.
-Watching the fights/tantrums of the games.
-Seeing the results of newbie auction.
-Accidently abandoning a group member.
-Getting to work with enthusiastic newbies.
-Roguing.
-Officially establishing the Component Reimbursement Program.
-Pulling my first A9, even if I wasn't casting.

A great event and feast, had a ball as usual.   Wore out, but had a blast.

Special thanks to the tavern people.  I am still shocked we pulled it off so nicely with the feast and keeping the tavern open the entire time.  Great job.
Glad we got Nancy to actually nap/sleep on Friday night.   Though she won't trust Jermiah or myself again with time keeping.

Coming in play right into an Akadi /Town negoations in the tavern and simply saying, "I will have no part in it." and walked out.
Being guildmaster of the Armory  and having my guild second do all the work.  Great job Novarius (Trey).
Damien's request that we all go and make babies with the Amorothians.
Meeting the new players, hope you all come back for next event.  Ol Hallows is always fun, pretty much the 24/3 day event we all rest up for.
After 3 events, finally getting able to kill a group of orcs....just some old fashion orcs...no giants, no orges, no wierd spiked, diseased, beasts or  entangleing plants, just plain ol orcs.
Sitting at the mages guild watching people eat the gumdrops and later on watching  "As Shadowmoor Turns" soap opera play out over at the Healer's Guild..
The festival games were great.  Great competition guys, for all those that particapated.  The dungeon was fun.

Thanks for all the rping and seeing all the new and old faces.  Hope yall show up next event when things will probably get really crazy.

Very much the awesomeness...

Friday night... everybody admiring Schumpert's Magnum Opus of a sword that he made for me ....at check in... even though it... "wasn't there"
Playing ambulance... briskly walking with two bodies over my shoulder to the Healer's guild
Vun- So... we're negotiating with the King of Akadai, Seamus- "I heard it was a new King... that the old king was dead", Bear- "Yes, he was dead they were moving around a stuffed corpse." Seamus- "They stuffed a horse??"  Somebody (sorry didn't catch who)- "A stuffed horse? with what?" Walrus- "I heard they stuffed the horse with the King!"    Fun with accents 101
Friday night field battle... Just Grove, Gabriel, Walrus, and Core (sp?)- Seamus... "I've had my armor repaired... I'm at full with greater bless to boot!!!  Have at you!!!"  Monster... "Slay!"  Seamus... "D'oh!!!"  Baelor killing blow on Rowan... killing blow 1.... killing blow 2... killin.... Seamus-  YOINK!!!  First Aiding Puck back to conciousness...
Being able to Killing Blow the Baelor!!  (of course everybody else had put him to that point... twas the icing on the cake)
Faery King's Boon   Grin
Saturday Seamus mod fun... finally being to wield the Monster Magnum Opus of a Schumpert sword...  Thanks for running it RT!
Everybody admiring the sword... for reals this time...
Not getting knocked out of the first round of 3 touch tournament...  I thought I would be.
Talking about dates for feast... with Vun and Valera... Vun pointed out that if it were just him and Valera... "There would be no Seamus in going stag"
Pot Luck Feast = AWESOMENESS!!
Saturday night drama with HG... you guys all played that well.
Having Gabriel and Walrus cover my flanking sides for most of the event... Thanks guys!!
Saturday night field battle.... intense
RT's 3 am 10 and under mod....  my hat is off to you sir.   "Hey RT can I play zombie?  That's how I'm moving right now"
The theme of Sunday's field battle.... Staying Alive!!! ah ah ah ah

ADDITIONS.

1) using all my heals saturday night, and thinking, "guys, we're screwed tomorrow. I hope you all don't die too much."
2) Cassette's emotional roller coaster paired with the soap opera that was the Healer's Guild. Loved the roleplay, and I can't thank everyone enough, for participating. And the look on Cassette's face when they asked for her input, and feeling she had was priceless. Just, all around awesome.
3) some people actual asking and finding out that Cassette is technically a barbar. Just... coming from a thinned out bloodline.
4) Becca's compliment/Armageddon's compliment to Cassette/Cassie. Because when I was told the dress made me have a goddess figure, I really DID start to glow. Smiley Love you Becca <3
5) THANK YOU MELISSA for the dress <3 She's the one who MADE the goddess figure blue shiny leather strap dress that I got so many compliments on. Smiley
6) feeling like a useless healer when I had nothing left but first aid-not even potions! D:
7) The grin on my face when I found out my boustier and body suit passed for low grade brigandine, because of it's metal wiring that I recently confirmed was indeed metal. Hell yes! Cheesy
8 ) Pass the message on to Ravyn! Marbles says hi <3 And, are we still on a motor oil hunt? xD

!. Dewicious cinnamon and vanilla blue waffles at feast
2.
- "Hey you guys, let's take some sticks in there!"  Best.  Idea.  Ever.  Figures it would come from the dog (I mean, wolf).
The Cabin Rolling Competition (Thanks Casey! I'm just glad Fenra didn't feel the urge to chase the thrown sticks lol)
3. Mage King field battle
4. Brushing Khazad's teeth after accidentally calling him Cado. Nothing is scarier then brushing a drae's teeth at night when he's armed and you're not.
5. Meeting all the new players and getting to talk to the newest wolf wilder to town even though we were both out of play at the time.
6. Playing the strangerdanger unseelie's upset date to feast.

My first gather got me addicted. And somehow this second gather turned out even better. Wow!

-Riding the Seamus Ambulance, and later discovering he could have ran with two bodies.
-Watching the HG soap opera with first row seats. No popcorn sadly.
-Running with the Grove, Korr (Proper Spelling) and Walrus against the Bhaelor.
-The Faery King's Boon  Cool
-Monstering for the Sunday Field Battle. And killing my friends ^_^ (Hearing someone go "Where's Gabriel!?" made my day)

And above all, the newb I brought had a blast.

Man as a long time player it is posts like this is something that makes me a happy happy man.

I also had a great event and a large reason for that was the level of excitement that new players brought.  As Keith Hudgens has said on numerous occasions "fun is contagious."  Well that was certinly true this event, on to my high lights.

~Being one of 8 people to show up for the Friday night field battle and be able to surrvie it.  Had a blast fighting with the Grove as well as with Gabe, Walrus and Korr.
~Having to lug the book of seasons up from Low town all the time wondering what possessed me to have it made to weigh 15 freeking pounds.
~Not being screwed over by a gift from the Fariey Courts.
~The tavern conversations including stuffed horses, the joys of playing in the snow and how buckets realy get made.
~Seeing folks that I have not seen in years.  Dee, Pam and Mat it was great to see you all again.
~Festival the games were great and though I went out in the second round I did have 2 epic sword on board fights
~Doing the dungeon crawl game a man short and not only being one of two teams to compleat it but being less then a minute slower then NANG (who had a full four man team by the by)
~The whole HG soap opera ending with Alphonse trying to crawl into his cabin cause his poarch was proscribed vs Sampan.
~the Mage King field battle it has been a long time since I have been that sore after a field battle.
