Sorry I've been away for a few days, I started my new job and it's been pretty busy.

Anyway, all of you who told me about All Hallows, I mentioned that I'd prolly miss it due to my working weekends. Well, I had such a fantastic event this last month that I decided to ask my supervisor about getting off the weekend of event.

As it stands, my supervisor told me tonight that he is in the process of trying to work out that weekend for me, and SHOULD have an answer by this coming weekend. I go back into work on Saturday, so I should have an answer then.

I really hope to see all of you. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Johnie: I work at Busch Gardens. Local theme park that runs a Halloween event from mid/late September to the end of October on weekends. I work in one of the mazes as a vampire. Scaring people for money = awesome.

I worked for Carowinds for two years as Security so I know what you mean Jordan! I was always envious of the maze people until they got punched and I had to arrest a drunk redneck  Grin

Update:  I talked to my stage manager yesterday and he's doing everything in his power to let me off for All Hallows. Apparently, I've impressed him the only two days I've worked for him, because he told me he's doing something he's never done before: He says that there were four people who had scheduling conflicts during that weekend. I don't know if it's for the whole weekend or just a day or whatever. Anyway, he says if he can manage to bring it down to two conflicts, he will approve my weekend for All Hallows. He should have the information by Saturday, when I return to work. Here's hoping!
