Sir Karn enters the tavern...

[toddr]

and heads over to an empty table.  He is carrying a package and wearing a pink hood.  He sets the package down and removes from it a large pink candle, which he lites and sets on a paper plate.  He then collects the now empty package and tosses it in the trash before heading into the kitchen.  He emerges a few minutes later with a plate of food and some pink lemonade and then takes a seat at an empty table.

Upon noticing Raven and Davkil, he motions for them to join him.

[RT]

Davkil turns as he catches motion out of the corner of his eye. He sees who it is and nods in his general direction.

"Yes Sir Karn, what can good ol' Sir Davkil do for you?"

[toddr]

"You two care to join me?  If you're filling her in on the recent events I think I might be able to help a little bit."

[RT]

Davkil looks at the woman who embraces Ravyn and then looks back to Sir Karn.

"Well, to be honest, it would be great to join you and talk about this, however, it would appear that other people wont leave Guildmistress Ravyn alone long enough for us to have said talk. You know, if Tari were here, she would keep these people in line as they attempt to grab or leech onto Ravyn in her time of need."

[toddr]

"Then I'll join you."  Sir Karn begins collecting his things and then moves over to Davkil and Ravyn's table.

[Ravyn]

Ravyn pulls out of the women's hug, and sniffles "Sir. Karn.. please.. fill me in" She walks over, seating herself across the table from the knight.

[BM]

Once she feels Ravyn pull away, she releases her with a kind smile, nods to the rest, and wordlessly walks away, returning to her table and writings.

[toddr]

"Well, Saturday night she told me of two visions she had.  In one, she sacrificed herself and in effect saved us all, and in the other, she didn't and we all either died or became slaves of the star king.  Me being Knight protector and head guardian, I attempted to talk her out of it and when that didn't work I attempted to get her to let me take her place.  Again, she refused.  Instead she told me that when the time came to make sure everyone got out.  So later Saturday night we all went on a boat trip to an island that only appears over all hallows to attempt to stop a ritual, I think.  Whatever the purpose of our being there was, the Star King himself showed up.  When he did, we all made for the ship as fast as we could.  Except her.  She stayed and I didn't see exactly how it happened, but there was a large explosion of life energy and she was gone.  Later that night I had a vision where I saw her explode into many pink shards, one of which hit me in the forehead.  After that I had a really strong urge to wear pink.  I don't know if anyone else had the same vision, but I'm going to guess that's the case seeing how there are now several of us in town now wearing pink where we weren't before.  She saved us all Ravyn."

[Ravyn]

Ravyn stares at Sir Karn a few moments, then nods slowly "So.. It is true, but why didn't she tell me?" She asked softly, tears starting to swell in her eye's once more

[toddr]

"Because she knew you would have gone with her, just the same as I would have."

[Ravyn]

"but.. There must have been another way, why her?" The tears pouring now

[RT]

davkil listens to the two exchange words and sits quietly for a moment before responding.

"i am not going to pretend i knew anything more than i did nor am i going to pretend that i knew her reasons aside from what she told me. karn here pretty much summed it up and while it is very depressing that she is gone, she saved all of our lives... though some i wish she hadn't. but i feel that orianna is not gone... i get these feeling from time to time that she will be back. I am not sure if it has to do with these pretty awesome pink gems that she shattered into or what, but the fact that a lot of people are now having urges to wear pink, i feel that pretty much shows that she still still is around somehow."

davkil reaches out and places his hand on ravyn and looks around the room a bit. he leans in and whispers to both people at the table... (PM coming)

"Well, I've got to be getting back to the guild, have a few matters to attend to there.  Davkil...thanks buddy."  Sir Karn gets up, returns his dirty dishes to the kitchen, and then exits the tavern headed for the Healers' Guild building unless stopped.

As Vend approaches the table a  look of slight confusion at Davkil's pink veins which he quickly removes crosses his face before he askes " Do you guys care if i join you? I wasnt able to be here for the gather and i was wondering if one of you could fill me in."

Sir Davkil looks up as Sir Karn leaves and notices the new comer...

"as a matter of fact, i do mind. I am having a talk with my friend here and you can bugger off."
