"Its funny that you question me on how I will defeat the Star King, and yet you still have yet to answer why a person of the black and red was wielding a piece of the Star King. The answer to your question on how I will kill the Star King is this... I helped put the Star King in a mortal form to where he can be killed especially since he is not at the height of his power. I'm sure you realize that something that is broken into 44 separate pieces can't be killed unless put back together, which I helped do. Surely you must realize that the Star King would have come back at some point, and when he did, he would have been more powerful than he is now. So, now that I have answered your question, answer mine."

The Hag speaks in a loud, angry hissing voice, "Ansswerr MY quessstion, Foolisssh one! How do you plan on killing him, now that you have given him the ability to complete hisss goal? Even now, his armiesss march on the City of gold. He will have what he needssss soon. Then he will rip the heartssss from your new planes that bring usss thissss lovely new magic that fuelsss him.

And then, withhhin the year, once he hassss all his componentsss, he will cast the ritual written on hisss bonesss, the one you replaced when you put hisss parts together and made him undefeatable. And when that is done, ssso are we all.

Sssso tell me, fine Heroes, how do you plan on defeating him, ssssince it wasss your wisdom that made him anew. We used all we had lasssst time to put him down until we had all in ready to be able to bring about hisss defeat. That chance is now gone. Ssso tell me, what is it that you plan?"

Ravyn gets up from the table where she was sitting, and walks over to stand next to Davkil. She glances up at him, and places a finger on her lips with a small shh. "For shame on all of you! Orianna didnt sacrifice herself so all of you  could point fingers. Don't cheapen what she did by claiming that any of you had any answers to these problems." A tear formed in her eye and slid down her cheek. "So now, instead of the Star King's pieces corrupting multiple people, they are all contained in a single body.

One question for everyone, how much success have you had in the thousands of years he's been in pieces in killing him for forever? Now it's time to bring back the child of prophecy." She turns to the lizard woman. "As for how we will end this, the child of prophecy...yes. But more importantly, we all have to band together to take care of the problem. All of us. Now...group hug everybody!"

Tari listens to Ravyn with a glisten in her eye. "That's my baby girl!" She envelopes the young elf into her arms at the mention of a group hug then stops, pushes her back and looks at everyone else with her finger in a mother-like, accusing position "Don't even think about touching her! I know what you're all thinking.. .and it's dirty!"

"You're right Ravyn that we need to work together.  However, the longer the Star King stayed in pieces the better, no contest.  Also, in the long ages that the Star King has been "destroyed" the Lizardmen have founded themselves even better on Amroth, the culture of the Sampan has grown into what it is, the So'dyr have been reawakened, and it looks like Akidai will fight with us against the armies of the Star King.  Not a bad setup so far.  Also, several groups have found Star King pieces and kept them secret.....until one individual thought he knew better than everyone else.

I'd rather give Akidai an extra few months to recover from a civil war, let the So'dyr regain their place, and find out more information.  Unfortunately, Fate dictated otherwise.  In the end, I'm not mad at Davkil;  I'm pissed at Amrothian Fate, but I'm definitely not going to do anything to help it out."

He truns to Emerald, "Emerald, I'm leaving to go find a device to fight the Star King that I've found out about.  I think you know what I'm talking about.  I'll be in our building for a little while before I go."

Sir Ash sighs, nods to Davkil and Ravyn, and turns to leave, stops near the Lizardwoman to say a few words (pm), and then heads out toward the center of town.

Ravyn, after pulling away from Tari's death grip, sighs as Sir Ash leaves the tavern. "Well, guess it's time to go get my ship ready. Bye Tari, bye Davkil!" She hugs both of them and skips out of the tavern.

Showing her age, the hag stands and begins to shuffle towards the door. To her guards, she gives sharp orders "Cocijo, send word to Ndombwe, tell them that they will be his nexsst target. He will seek the second pillar. The eldersss there will know the whyss and whereforess.
Anything they can do to delay him will help. We mussst delay in all possible waysss. Once he hasss the last component, he will take the hearts of the planesss, then he will ssstart the ritual.

 
Ix, send to the Halach Vinic, sssee that he sssends warning to all the peoplesss of Amroth, and to thossse that hold the powers in check. The Star King isss given form, and will complete his cycle, and all will be unmade. Have them ssend their speakers, their wise ones, and their seers, to the Plains of Losterail to the foot of Mount Cair. There we will have council on what has been done, and what is to be done.

Asss for thesse arragont fools! They have the problem well in hand, so we need not bother. It will be up to the council to decside their fate.

Go now, Quickly, we have ssso little time."

Before Ravyn leaves Emerald responds "This isn't about pointing fingers, it is about protecting ourselves.  We have fought and many of us have died trying to prevent the return of the Star King.  What we prevented cultist, gargoyles, Deacon and other servants from doing, our neighbors, our own Shadowmoorians did instead.  Yes Orianna sacrificed herself to give us a chance to defeat the Star King but that is because she saw that after the ritual was completed we had almost no hope of destroying him. 

If the ritual had not been cast she might have had more options.  We all might have had more options but now we are left with only two, success or annihilation. Guard yourself child and I hope you notice that none of those who enacted this plan suffered for our survival the way Orianna did; nor do I expect they would be willing to do so in the future."

Looking at Sir Ash Emerald says "Fate did not do this Ash.  People chose to follow one of the paths the seer's saw.  If Fate was set, the Star King would have been destroyed before we ever arrived just as it was prophesied he would be when he first came to power.  Words and visions can guide us but they do not control us.  Just as Orianna saw multiple potential outcomes based on her choices, so can we all effect what will come...for better or worse."

Turning back to Davkil.  "You are confusing plan with goal.  You say your goal is to kill the Star King but you have no plan to accomplish the task. Who told you that he could not be destroyed unless he was reformed? If we somehow manage to get the Child of Prophesy back, which may not even be possible now since it was my understanding we needed the Star King's staff to find the place of twisted fate, how do you know that he could not have destroyed the pieces one by one? 

As for the hand, that has been addressed multiple times.  Athelas was an idiot for identifying it but there was no betrayal in it.  We have all miss-stepped and underestimated what the pieces could do on their own but foolishness is a small thing compared to willfully deceiving this town into assisting in his resurrection and lying about it after the fact."

Sir Alexander steps up with a barbarian behind him,  "What have we here?  You all  should be preparing for the next round and not bickering over things that have happened already.  So the star king is together.  We are going to destroy him  in a year's time.   Do you not think my Order as well as others have not prepared for this. We will destroy him.  Period.   That is what will happen.  Have some dang faith people.  All of you."  says Alexander to the Red and Black and Davkil.

"As for you madam Lizardwoman.  The coalition is preparing for what is coming.  The grey horde will descend if it hasn't already.  Send word to General Ryan if you need reinforcements.  We have not forgotten and will not forget our allies.  If you must, bring your people within the Oasis.  We have already built a defense line after the Akadi army fled back to Akadi.  The Coaltion has fortified every town from Midway to here after our war.  Armies and militias stand in every town.   We are well aware of what is going on and have planned accordingly.   I have  my own duties to perform and people to search out.  There is a weapon to kill the Star King.  There are people in the Oasis that will defeat him.  We just have to hold strong and make it through until the time is right.  Know you have allies.  Know you are not standing alone.  General Ryan can be found in Aragon at the Order of the Eternal Blossom compound or already at one of the Coalition camps set up around the Oasis and Amorth."  says Sir Alexander as he sees the barbarians coming back out of the kitchen with full packs and turns to leave if not stopped.

"Good luck everyone.  I will see you next gather, maybe before.  Just prepare yourselves.  Crap hath hit the proverbal Air Elemental." says Sir Alexander as he leaves with the barbarians heading out of town.

"Yes those of us still fighting have a great deal of work to do and a only a short time to accomplish it."

Emerald turns and leaves the tavern in the direction of the Mage's Guild unless stopped.

As Ravyn leaves the building Tari folds her arms and looks from one person to the other and rolls her eyes. "Come on Davkil we gotta do that thing with that person who has that one teddy bear..." she turns to the lizardman woman "And you... Ms. Lizardman woman lady...  You may have been alive forever and a day but you're a meanie face and hurt my feelings with your name calling and stuff. So yeah!" she exits the tavern and heads in the direction of the healer's guild.

Cathching  Sir Ashe's quiet words, she turns and speaks softly to him for a few moments.

She looks to speak to Sir Alexander, but chooses not to chase him down.

To Tari, she speaks:

"I am sssorry I have harmed your feelingsss child. Having three millenia of work undone, and seeing the unstoppable destruction you have set upon my world hassss obviously made me tetchy.  Now, if you will excusse me, I must go prepare Amroth for the coming battle with the thing that you have releasssed."

The hag limps out the door, muttering softly to herself.
