With several shawls and blankets covering him...

...in walks the long-eared Sampan, easily recognizable by his ears, only visible due
to them poking out from the scarf that covered the majority of his face, as well as a
shimmering orb that hung at his side, shining in the firelight. He was quietly mumbling
to himself, dusting himself off, as it appeared that he had suddenly fell upon the
ground recently. After examining himself, he looks up about the room, scanning
the area, then nods to himself, almost seemingly talking to himself. He turns walking
to the Wall, gazing at it, a few puzzled looks come over his face, but are quickly gone
as his eyes fall upon a certain parchment, easily seen as having some kind of pink
writing. He pulls out a small book from within his shawl, scrawling in it something,
then lets out a sigh, closing his eyes and bowing his head. Anyone near him will
here him say quietly, but still slightly audible, "May the Winds guide you home..."

Raising his head, he turned once more walking lightly through the tavern, entering
into the kitchen, then finally exiting with a bowl of rice and a glass of drink, finding
an unoccupied table, beginning to eat quietly.

noticing alphonse's entrance, sir davkil gets up from the table he'd been sitting at and takes a seat at the sampans table without asking.

 "alphonse! just the sampan i'd been looking for. we need to have a talk and since you're here and i'm here, turns out we can have that talk now."

Looking up to Sir Davkil momentarily, he bows his head in greeting, straightening
up his items upon the table, placing down his bowl, and turning to face his visitor.

"Greetings, Sir Davkil, and please forgive my absence... I went to Docksides for
the past couple moons to assist Kalei with the orphanage as well as... Clear my
head and think about some of my past unsavory actions."

As Alphonse speaks, his expression seems to understand the meaning of this
sudden meeting from Sir Davkil, yet is still curious and slightly puzzled if he is right.

"I recently returned due to getting the news of Mistress Orianna's passing.
My delay, however, since I received the news quite immediately after the event,
has came from simply not feeling it was the right time."

He shifted a little in his seat, then nodded, seemingly more to himself.

"But yes, I am here and free to have this talk, wherever you desire it take place."

Sir Davkil nods as the Sampan speaks and when he finishes, the beastman scratches his chin before he responds...

"Well now, I must say that it is rather fortuitous that you are here as that would mean i dont have to come looking for you in dock sides. i will admit that it is rather funny that you chose to mention these 'unsavory acts', especially since that is why we are having this conversation. Im not sure if you are aware, and if you were aware, i highly doubt that you would admit it to me anyway, but there was a substantial amount of gold taken from the Healers' Guild coffers, and well, lets be frank... it doesnt look good that you just up and left town right about the time that the money went missing. that being said, we have all committed unsavory acts in our past and if one of yours just happens to be, oh how should we say... casually removing money from the coffers that didnt belong to you, well, i think you know where this is going..."

((Sorry this reply has taken so long, school and the holidays just been hectic.))

Alphonse looked to Sir Davkil, nodding, a look of sincere surprise to hear that there was a substantial amount of missing gold. He frowned shaking his head.

"As much as I do understand my disappearance does not speak for my innocence, I have no idea of where the gold may have been taken. In light of this matter, I would be happy to assist in any return of the guild funds, namely since I, myself, serve the Healer's Guild as much as I can. The unsavory acts were my behavior that was most unlike myself, and my own kind. I left for Docksides to get away from the trials of the Guild, and try and refresh my mind on how to be as I should be."

Alphonse looks down to his book, gazing at some of the writing, then nodding a bit he looked up.

"I would happily also submit to a truth spell, or potion, in order to prove my innocence. And again, I will certainly join in any way of returning these funds. I feared that the reason for your meeting me here was due to the way I acted, and usually your appearance means that someone is in need of some 'stupid hurts' lessons. But believe me, that I have truly learned the error of my ways, and do not plan on repeating these actions ever again. Kalei taught me how to command with kindness so to speak, and when dealing with many children, the orphans of Docksides, you must not get harsh."

He nods in a matter-of-fact manner. He gives a light smile, then speaks once more.

"So, Sir Davkil, is there anything else that I need to assist you with?"
