Hello all. I have not been to a shadowmoor event (I played clanthia for like 8 years) but I really want to, BUUUTTT..... I cannot afford to come play. SO I have come up with an idea that helps me and helps other players. I can make some costume stuff. So far I can make skirts, reversible hoods (not cowls), bags and other random little accessories. If you want pictures of the skirts and the one hood I have made let me know. I'm also trying this because I need practice making stuff but I don't want to make a bunch of costuming that I can't use. So basically send me a message letting me know what you might want and I can ball park a figure for you. For now prices will basically be cost of materials plus $5 -$10 for time. Obviously depending on what you want.

Hi Abby,

We would love to see you in Shadowmoor!  Just FYI, your first event is completely free (except food, but our Tavern is amazing and inexpensive).  Come on out and play!

Depending where you are in Ga you can score a ride to and from events for just helping out with gas.  My wife and I live in Alpharetta and since we have a van we useally have room for one or two peole depending on stuff.

I'm in Acworth, I have considered catching a ride with someone, but I have a tendency to bring a lot of stuff, like for cabin decorations and what not, so I dunno. I've talked to a couple of my friends and we are planning on carpooling up with my Explorer so hopefully that will work out.

on another note, I have a link to pictures of stuff that I have made in the past couple days....    http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c278/Loveless_Soul/my%20creations/  (copy paste cause the link won't work)  let me know if there are any questions. The hood and bag are reversible.

(quick question... who is the gypsy race marshal if there is one?)

A gypsie race marshall?  That'd be cool.

If we're doing race  marshalls... some body should marshall my willandholly.

Of course that character would only need one on routine expeditions.

I did not see any pictures of the cabins inside or out. Does anyone have any? I would just like to try to get the lay of the land before I get cabin decor.

Good point.  Not a lot of cabin pics.  All cabins have power, roughly half have front porches, big screen windows, rafters overhead, etc.  Not a lot of people decorate their cabins very extensively....due mostly in part to laziness hehe.

The site website wasn't very helpful on finding pictures of the inside of cabins either. How many beds are in each cabin and how many cabins are on site? Are the cabins in one spot or are the divided up across the camp site?

BTW thanks everyone for helping me out. I know I have alot of questions for someone who has played before but I know Shadowmoor is different from Clanthia in alot of ways and I just want to make sure my first event is awesome from my side. Cause ya know the plot team and staff can only do so much. In my opinion, it's also the players responsibility to add to the in game atmosphere. I'm not saying I'm going to be crazy about the cabin decorations, but every little bit helps the scene.

If you think "summer camp" you'll have a decent idea of the facilities we use at the park.
