I was explaining to someone the LARP comparing it to one they used to play and I thought another members responce was houmorus enough to post Ugh.. in this game you say your spell verbal, what ever it may be. (I smite you with a Magic Missle) (I Call upon teh land to Cure Serious Wounds) etc... and throw a spell packet (tor touch cast) and if it hits they take the spell effect. A spell packet is basically a 6 inch square piece of fabric with a shot glass full of bird seed in it.  Eh something like that. I found it on google img search. Generally the packet it tighter, and the feather on teh cloth isn't that long. Color doesnt matter, unless its green (which is used for poison gas' and alchemy/Acids) For a second I misread the packet post and thought you were chucking shotglasses at people. I was like OMG THAT HAS TO HURT.

Sounds like an off site mod to me!! state parks and their no alcohol law thingy..
But omg could you imagine trying to roleplay with some of those people drunk....

I don't know. I've seen a lot of people role-play being drunk...but drunk role-playing could be fun... My friends say I act like Hunter S Thompson or Jack Sparrow when I'm drunk...does that count?

Roleplaying a character while drunk? No way I make a big enough fool out of myself while dressed up as a cat sober, hate to see what would happen while I am bloto. On the other hand being dressed as a cat and pretending you have magic powers would be alot easier to explain if you are doing it when you are drunk then if you do it when you are sober.
