Clean living, good deeds, and Murphy's Law...

So Thanksgiving happened to be my real life brother's birthday, and he has been in town all week, to celebrate, he goes to a bar with a friend, we'll guesstimate about 12-14 of them. I was at work, when I got off, the Designated Driver was tired, and wanted to go home, sadly I had promised to babysit my brother for the late shift, so I go.
Being around a party of 15 drunks while being the only sober person in the bar... well... sucks.
Flash forward to 4 am, a girl comes in the bar as says she just hit a red mustang trying to leave. Messed up my car, can't open the driver's side door. Called the cops, got an incident report. Girl still hasn't filed her claim. Her insurance company is dragging it's feet (USAA) due to the aforementioned reason.
My Car's repairs are being held up because an 18 year old girl, with a tattoo across her chest, 10-15 piercings in her face, and neon blue/green hair still hasn't filed with her insurance company.
Moral of the Story: No good deed goes unpunished. Cheers to Murphy.

Murphy is the bane of many of our existences. I have had the same thing happen a few times over at school and back in the day when I was working as a bartender. I swear other people just can't drive. Sorry to hear about the horse. She's a sweet ride.

I've promised to beat Murphy up with a stick on many occasions and if I ever find him it shall be a glorious day.

Sorry about your car, Jeff.
Tell you what, we'll all hunt down murphy and beat them to death. Murphy truly is the bane of all existences.

I'd like to point out that the girls looks have nothing to do with her lack of responsibility or intelligence. I know plenty of well dressed, upstanding looking morons out there.

There will be no forwarding of personal information.
That being said, do not use my story as an excuse to beat up Murphy, he's a wise man.

He's wise but he makes life very difficult when you most need it to go right. I've met him way too many times. lol
I promise not to hunt and beat him up... I hear he's a hard man to find.

Being the one person the sober it not so bad. It meas you can mess with people and watch them stumble around like a dizzy 5 year old. Not to mention of you know the people that a drunk you can call them in the morning and be as loud and cheerful as possible.

For those of you looking for Murphy, I think he's been my roommate for quite some time now. I've only learned that if you're a pessimist with low expectations who plans for everything, he doesn't like to hang around.
