lol. well, i just don't wanna post all this stuff, and post my heart out and then have people who don't want it on here... like.... if you want it, i'll post it. ^_^ but if u don't want it, then i could just hold on off and... not post. but, i guess I'll post like, two, and see what i get as as reactions go. =)
uhm...i'll post a happy one, i guess. but lots of them are about love... so...bear with me. >.<
and i usually put these on facebook...haha.
[well, i don't have an official name for this one... because i wasn't sure what it was. i mean...
it's one of those poems where you don'tknow what it's exactly about. so what do u call me? any name suggestions?
i titled it, onmy computer "Closer to Love (Contradictions...maybe)"
And i wrote it while listening to "Closer to Love" by Matt Kearney on REPEAT
maybe i heard it 4 times before i was done. maybe 5.
enjoy!]
I feel the shadows
Closing in
As I rest in bed
As I cough and sneeze
As my chest heaves
I look outside to see
The leaves
He leaves
In January
Lord, bring him home to me
To my arms forever
Fingers flying
My brain has been frying
Trying to make sense of this
Love, love, love
So simple and so pure
Some receive it from above
But this one has been forsaken and forgotten
Like a worn dandelion in the fiercest of storms
I don’t pray to the lord, but I pray for him today
All I’ve ever
Waited for
Wanted and needed
Cried over and fought over
Distance isn’t a factor
Nor age nor intelligence
As long as there is something to scare the dark away
Some day there will be no more dark to fear
No shadows to swallow me in my sickness
We’re gonna get there
Get there sooner than you thought
When you realized the storm blew by
And the wind blew by so fast
The age of me
The age of you
It struck like the fist on the door
It created fear like the impending questions
You will be punished unfairly no more
Not on this day
Fighters and healers
Givers and takers
Caretakers
I want to be one of those
But I already am
I want to be a fighter
And I already am
But isn’t it one of the other?
Or is it neither?
Won’t the world be better off without me fighting?
Oh, you’ll find out
And you’ll find you
Minds are ready
At the starting line
Finishing up their final accomplishments
Preparing themselves for the rest of their lives
No more running
At least, not after this
No more hiding
Nothing to push away
No monsters in this closet
I’ll clear out the underside of the bed for you
We’ll hide together one last time
Don’t be afraid
Little one, don’t cry
Don’t miss me
When you’ve yet to see it all
Don’t yearn for me
When it’s selfish enough to be in love at all
Defy me
And love me
Show me what you’ve been waiting for
hope u like it. ^_^

Vampire
You curse me for what you wish you could be.
You fear me because I am something more than you could ever imagine.
You wonder what it must be like to never feel death embrace.
Yet this scares you!
I can see it on your face.
You whisper amongst yourselves of things most wonderous and yet so benign to me.
You cannot bring yourselves to know the truth.
When all you have to do is ask it of me.
Still I walk in shadows and slip in out of your dreams.
Yet you pretend you do not know the real me.
You pretend the thought of my life.
Does not almost burst you at your seams.
To live as I do is only one step away.
One invitation made will make your puny existence slip into the nether void.
One invitation will bring you into a life you could have never known.
A life you dream of, strive for and unless you invite me in.
A life that will be just out of reach for you and your puny kin.
I am the vampire!
Stuff of legends and lore.
Stuff you dream of, hope for and can never be!
All you must do is invite me into your life.
Then you will become the thing you fear, hate and have wanted dead your whole life!
So the question remains " Can I have you for dinner sometime?"

ooooooh! i love the ending on this one, about the vampire.
very good!
I have another one i wrote yesterday (at 2 AM...haha), and i figure i could post it on here!
(also, my apologies for not posting on here in forever, i totally forgot my login, and have been catching up on homework at school, and so now i'm hopefully going to be keeping up with this more!)
I call this one..."The Princess and The Fool"
Restless
The princess awaited him
By the moonlight
She trusted his every word
She knew his every move
And he knew her far too well
He would die for her
The faithful court jester
The princess’s fool
He was head over heels for the young lady
Had stood beside her
As she blossomed
She would be the queen soon enough
He loved her so much
Wanted to hold her close to him
Whispering tales of love from across the sea
And she wanted to whisper right on back
She was weak-kneed for him
When she heard the crunch
The snapping twigs
And the rustle of the midnight leaves
She felt her heart
Rapid and willing
To jump from her chest and flee to safety
She took a breath
Turned her eyes to the sounds
And saw her court jester, approaching easily
Their hands met
Fingers sliding together
Intertwining in that perfect harmony
Most only dream of, or hear in fairytales
Well, they were writing one of their own tonight
As he spun her around
Kissed her, with a twinkle in his eye
And whispered, so softly
Where have you been all my life?
Softer still
They snuck off, giggling like children
Mischievous in their loving
Their hearts were brightly ablaze
As he picked her up, and ran with her
Her laughter carrying over the darkened hills
Her lovely breath, so close to his neck
Oh, it gave him chills
How could one girl be so captivating?
How could he have fallen so fast?
Without her, he would never see the day
She was his light, and his sunshine
As he walked over the threshold
As he set her on the bed
She was gazing intently at him
Her eyes so wide and curious
Yet full of laughter
It was her way
She sat up a little, as he kneeled before her
They were infatuated with each other
And nothing could take that away
He took one of her delicate hands
So small by his comparison
He kissed the tips, as he reached behind him
From his pocket he drew a box, opened it
And covered her hands with his
When he slid his hands away, smiled at her, and saw tears in her eyes
He knew she was pleased
She wrapped her arms around him
And laughed, kissing him vibrantly
Over and over she whispered the answer
Yes, my darling, yes
Enjoy!

Here si another one and maybe would should start a poet/bards guild.what do you think?
I am enveloped by solitude and wrapped in solice
I walk alone in this world yet i am surrounded by everyone and all things
I can carry the most delicate flower or become enraged and destroy all in my path
I am a childs summer friend as they fly a kite
I am a captain hero when stores are low and the crew moral is as black as night
I kiss the cheeks of delicate maidens and redden the face of mighty barbarians
I am many things to many people
sometimes I exist ever so barely and others I rock the foundations of every mortal soul
I make music of the sweetest kind
yet howl with rage on storm swept night
I am calm, forceful, loving and vengeful all at once
I am the wind
ever present and ever affecting this world we live in

For you my fellow poet:
The Soul I see in You
I have never met you in face to face person
I would not know you if you walked before my eyes
I would not know you if I heard you speak, laugh or heavens forbid cry
I read your words and know you are a kind soul
I see the words from your pen and know you intimately to your soul my friend
I have never had with you a face to face diatribe
But the soul you write with makes my heart cry tears of joy
Joy to know there is another soul in this great wide world
That can such words of power, passion and joy
I do not it is true know the Lady we call Cassandra
But I do not doubt I know her soul
I do not doubt the passion, power and light
That is the soul I see in you.
I hope I get to meet you my poetry writing sister of the soul.

Look,
About...
What went on,
You can’t let it, well...
You must know,
Things have,
Changed.
Why?
But how?
You cant just,
After everything?
But why now?
You just...
No...
There is nothing that can be done at this point. (But why now?)
It’s gone on far too long and the time has come. (Please...)
You will just have to live with your memories. (I can’t...)
We tried so hard,
Fought to make it work,
I let down my guard,
Just to end up hurt.
Time will pass, eventually your pain will fade. (Don’t do this.)
It is nothing personal you must understand this. (You promised...)
You are young still and you still have your future. (Not without you.)
We tried so hard,
Fought to make it work,
I let down my guard,
Just to end up hurt.
Please
Take me
You can’t just...
I don’t want to be...
Without you...
Left here...
Alone.
No
I can’t
Her times up
I came to take her
It’s her time
Not yours
Yet.

My task some is solemn and marks the end of life
It is said how grimm my existence must truly be
There are me who in truth would never want to be me
They shun the idea of all I do
They pray they never have to know who I a
Those same people will never bother to ask me my name
They will only see me as the man in black
Barely having a face and never having a name
Now I will tell you of the truth of who I am
I celebrate that which was and make memories for those who have no friends
I lay to rest those souls who pass from this life to the next
I say a prayer for those who have no one else to do so for them
I am the last person most people will encounter in this life
I am everyones forever friend
I do not just bury the bodies anf forget the soul which remains
I remember each face, each passing soul and every name
I am the undertaker; but as all do in the end
I am sure you will remember as your last, best friend

Weightless in the sea,
With a wandering soul,
Please don’t leave me,
I need you,
To lead me home.
(Drifting In space,
Floating here,
Far from alone,
Take my hand,
I’ll guide you home.)
Help me stand tall.
Don’t let me fall.
(Looking in the mirror
I notice I am not alone.
Please come closer,
I need you,
Don’t let me go.)
In my reflection,
I see you start to fall.
Move closer,
In my arms,
You stand tall.
(I need you.)
Here with me.
(I can’t make it)
Not on my own.

Something makes me worry
something tears at me inside
to think i'm being ignored
makes tears want to spill
i can't--
can't fathom what you're going through
can't figure out what's wrong
I know you love me
I know you're going through trouble
but I want to be always by your side
reaching for the hands that hold me
reaching for the arms that keep me grounded
the eyes that shelter me through the storm
you may not be "the usual"
like all the other boys out there
but you know sure as anything,
that i love you
and that will never change
let's keep our secret, dear
for as long as we have to keep it
someday we'll be free to love each other
Well, that sounds great!
But I'm not sure if I want to join any other guilds. Technically I'm already in 2, as far as i know, in play. And as for the poem, thank you so much! I'm pretty sure we've met, but not directly. Never exchanged names in play. But i stick out like a sore thumb. lol
that was just an improvised poem, I made it up and went with it.
i have a lot on my mind, as usual. >.< but, great poems everyone! keep it up! i love expressing myself and hope you all do

That song is a duet and I would sing it if I had a partner.
here is part 2
If you guys shut up and listen, I’ll tell you about her.
(We want to hear more about this guy that you’re seeing.)
Her hair, long, curly and flowing,
(His eyes, deep, luring, enchanting)
Her lips, full, enticing, and inviting,
(His smile, wide, charming, fascinating)
What is this feeling?
(My heart is racing!)
My legs feel weak.
(My arms are so heavy!)
Why can’t I breathe?
(I think I’m getting dizzy.)
Why does she make me feel this way?
(Why does he make me feel this way?)
I wish I could tell her how I feel.
(I wish he would tell how he feels.)
What if she feels them same way bout me too?
(If only he knew how I felt about him!)
Her body, her legs, her smile, her face.
(His body, his chest, his smile, his face)
What is this feeling?
(My heart is racing!)
My legs feel weak.
(My arms are so heavy!)
Why can’t I breathe?
(I think I’m getting dizzy.)
Hey man this chick sound hot, just ask her out.
If she says no at least you guys are friends.
(You should make a move, he is probably just
to shy to ask you out.)
You know your right. Tomorrow, I’ll say something to her.
(You know your right. Tomorrow, I’ll say something to him.)

Actually most songs I write are duets.
Part 3
Lost without a home,
out here all but alone.
Taken from me,
by a man and a bottle.
No more beating,
no more bleeding.
(Take my hand; I’ll take you from this world to another.
Give me your soul; I’ll lead away from this horrid nether.
Give me your heart; I’ll carry you from one side to the other.)
So many nights I lay their screaming,
Why was my youth so fleeting?
Why does he not feel guilty?
I can feel my body wilting.
His presence haunts me even tonight.
My mind won’t free me from this fright.
(Take my hand; I’ll take you from this world to another.
Give me your soul; I’ll lead away from this horrid nether.
Give me your heart; I’ll carry you from one side to the other.)
My your persistent,
You just don’t get it.
Why are you still here?
Why don’t you just go!
I know you do mean well,
But this is a personal hell.
(I will not go,
I will not leave you alone.
You mean too much,
For me to just walk away.)
(Take my hand;
I’ll take you from this world to another.
Give me your soul;
I’ll lead away from this horrid nether.
Give me your heart;
I’ll carry you from one side to the other.)
Take me with you,
Don’t leave me here,
Alone.
