3.) My character is brand new, there is no way I can do anything amazing!
The level of amazement you achieve is not based on your character level, but on your ability to play the game. Some of the greatest things that have happened we because people weren't afraid to jump in and start roleplaying. I tell everyone I personally train that the game is 30% character build 70% attitude, so get in there and act like the character you want to be, not the character you think you are.

To all new players. Go on mods. I heard a couple new players complaining about being bored, then saw them later refusing to go on a newbie mod. Then I had someone tell me that they couldn't be as strong as me because they only call 2 damage. *I* only call 2 damage. 2 damage adds up- ALOT. If you don't believe me, play a monster. 5 people calling 2 damage kills a creature with 100 body in about 15 seconds. But probably the most important advice to give to players is a quote from Dan. "It's just a game". The idea is to have fun.

I couldn't agree more. Newbie mods if you can find them (they usually start with "I'm looking for some young adventurers" or something similar), or find a group to tag-a-long with on a high adventure.
