Cassette walks into the tavern

[Cassandra_Castagna]

laughing, and slightly out of breath. She holds a hand to her chest, glancing out of the tavern window closest to her. "That was close!" She looks around the tavern, to see if she recognizes anyone, and then turns to her right to Alena.

[Allyson]

Alena runs in right behind cassette and laughs " no that was fun" she said smiling at her and placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder " hear let me get you a drink go sit down somewhere" she said patting her on the back and walking to the kitchen.

She turned to smile at Alena, never one to turn down kindness. "Sure! hmmmm..." she thought for a moment, and then sat at the nearest empty table, placing her weapons on the table, and sighing, trying to even her breathing out. RUnning from monsters was pretty dangerous, she had to admit, but maybe Alena was right. It was kind of fun...she mused.

Alena walked back out of the kitchen holding two cups in her hands, her sword gently tucked under her arm. "Here," she said, handing Cassette a drink as she placed her own on the table, putting her weapon and shield down as well.

She smiled and took the drink, taking a hearty sip and smiling contendedly. "What were those anyway? And what did they want with us?" She shook her head, and took a tiny sip, wiping her mouth on the back of her hand delicately. "Normally i would have noticed what they were, but I was too busy running..." she laughed nervously and glanced up at Alena.

" I really don't know really...too dark to see but I'm guessing colbalts? I don't know I just got here" alena said sitting down next to cassette and taking a sip of her drink. " they probably wanted what all monsters want I don't know what that is since I'm not a monster" Aleba said chuckling. " but rest assured were safe... " Alena said taking another sip " for now" she whispered.

Cassette shook her head, taking another sip of her drink and setting it down on the table in front of her. "Alena, don't take such a serious tone! After all, we did outrun them, and we're safe. That's what we should be thankful for. And as for what monsters want...I honestly have no idea either." She laughed and pulled out her parchment.

Alena smiled softly taking another sip and placing it on the table looking around then noticing the parchment. " drawing again?" she asked.

Cassette looked up at Alena, and smiled. "Yep! I think I'll draw you, Alena! After all...what else can I draw? The trees?" She asked this jokingly, and shook her head, giggling. "Ah...my terrible attempt at humor..."

[Allyson]

" Me!" she said surprised " why me? I'm not that interesting" she said looking around then taking another sip of her drink giggling as she looks around the tavern.

Cassette shook her head, and smiled, almost sadly. "You're far more interesting than me, I would say. After all, barely anyone knows me. And I've been here longer than you, Alena. I always cringe from monsters, unless I have people around me, and I'm an awful fighter." She sighed, and shook her head. "Sorry. I...can't help myself. I've just been so negative lately."
