Alphonse Enters The Tavern

[Yeshua]

Alphonse, after opening the door a bit and glancing around to confirm safety, slips into the tavern and looks around. One of the newest Sampan, and brother of Io, he seemed slightly nervous, only easing some as he saw things were safe. The Sampan then proceeds to a lone table, plopping down checking his surroundings again, places his sword down on the table and pulls out some parchment and begins to work on something, occasionally looking through the openings and gazing a bit at nothing in particular before nodding and continuing to, what appears to be, drawing on the parchment.

Io steps out of the kitchen and  looks around. She looks at the others, then walks to her brother and gives him a quick embrace before walking away and back toward the others.

Alphonse jumped a bit then let a light smile pass over his face as he watched her walk off then went back to his work letting out a relaxed sigh.

Cassette walks into the tavern quietly, and yet somehow she attracts attention, as she slides in, weapons in either hand. She is wearing her black dress, with red front, laced with golden string. Long sleeves that trail nearly to the floor, and brown hair, a braid on either side of her round ears. She looks around the tavern, and sees a Sampan, sitting all alone. She has seen him before, but has never spoken to him, much like many of the people in the town. She walks up to him, arms at her sides, smiling softly, and politely saying, "Excuse me, but may I join you?"

Alphonse looked at the female speaking and nodded. "Of course. I do not mind company. It's unsafe here any other way to be honest. But I digress, let me introduce myself, I am Alphonse." He bowed and held out his hand in friendship.

[Cassandra_Castagna]

Cassette nodded and smiled, taking his hand and shaking it gently, bowing her head. "I'm Cassette. Lovely to make your acquaintance, Alphonse!" She giggled and sat down beside him at the table, placing her weapons down beside his. "I see you like to draw?" She glanced at his parchment, trying to get a peek at it; curious as always.

She would see that it was a map, but little progress had been made on it.

"I do enjoy drawing, but I prefer maps... My personal drawings are not as elaborate as my sister's..."

He leaned a bit over allowing her to see.

"If you would like to see my drawings, I would have to search around my stuff a bit, but I am sure I could get a picture or two..."

[Cassandra_Castagna]

Cassette tilted her head, trying to comprehend the drawing while he talked. "That's actually very interesting, considering I can't draw maps." She laughed, and continued. "I've never had a reason to make a map, and I'd never be good at it, seeing as I don't remember the places I go to anyway, and I don't travel much, so..." She stopped and began to fix one of her braids that had been coming loose.
After it was fixed, she spoke again, shaking her head lightly, "And no need to worry over me. I won't make you search for anything. Maybe you could show me another time? I don't want to be a nuisance." She then considered his earlier comment. "And as for elaboracy, it doesn't matter. As long as you're enjoying what you do, and having fun, then that's all that matters, right?" She smiled easily, and placed her hands in her lap, glancing at the map again.
"Anyway...what is that a map of?" She asked, looking up at Alphonse.

Alphonse stared at it a bit then let out a sigh.

"It is of here. But I haven't exactly walked around much to get anymore than the area around the tavern."

Looks up and sees Remmi back, seeming more calm than more recent. He remembers that Remmi was the one who actually helped him get in contact with the guild mistress, who now is one of his personal reasons for staying around. He saw him lean down and talk to Cassette. He remembered that he had never formally thanked him for introducing him to the Healer's Guild. (See "Remmi reenters the tavern" thread)
