Stregosh
These colorful wanderers populate many of the countless tribes of peoples that inhabit Amroth. The distinction of Stregosh from the mundane Barbarian is the mysterious rite of passage through which one gains acceptance into a Band of Stregosh. Although only the Elders and Doyen of their kind can truthfully speak on Stregosh origins, most others suspect some terrible event led to their nomadic ways and evolved their ability to slip the ties of Fate.

Costuming & Makeup
Stregosh wear colorful clothing that comes from the various tribes and cultures that they come into contact with on a daily basis. Pleated skirts with loose tops, baggy breeches and vests are fashionable. Stregosh come from all over Amroth and can be taken from any ancestry they come in contact with.
Stregosh lose any inherent Ancestral Advantage or Disadvantages they originally had in favor of the Stregosh. Essentially, when a PC becomes a Stregosh, they still look like their former ancestry but instead replace former ancestrial Advantages/Disadvantages with the Advantages/Disadvantages of the Stregosh.

Grand Bazaar:
Grand Bazaar Every three years, all the Stregosh bands come together and form a huge tent city somewhere on Amroth, usually the Plains of Lostariel. This is a time of celebration and reunion between folk who may not have seen one another in that amount of time. This is a gathering for Stregosh only - no outsiders are allowed, except for the lucky few who are in line to become Stregosh themselves.
Legends & Folklore
The Sunset Caravan:
The worst transgression a Stregosh can commit is to betray a member of their family or band. It is considered unforgivable. While it is unfathomable for most members adopted into this society to reject this gift, there are tales of those who did place their own desires above the safety or security of their people. Oddly though, these individuals rarely face justice before the full band. Some claim that it is because anyone who commits such an atrocity flees from guilt and shame. Most however, believe it is the work of the Sunset Caravan. Legends say they are a band who hunt down traitors. The Sunset Caravan is rumored to remove the light and color from the captive’s world. There are many theories as to what that means. Some say the traitors are rendered permanently desensitized and set to wander the world without the ability to see color, hear music, or feel softness or warmth - all food tastes of ash in their mouths. Others say offenders are trapped in stone and buried beneath the earth were they may never see the sun or feel the wind on their skin. Of course the most pragmatic simply interpret the legend as a death sentence.
Culture
Stregosh form small bands and travel the width and breadth of Amroth. They take in those that are left behind or unwanted by their people and give them a home. Through this process, the Stregosh are said to ‘slip the ties of Fate’ and travel freely without fear of the peoples of Amroth.
Daily Life
Stregosh have found a way to make their way in the world when, individually, they were forgotten by their peoples. The Stregosh often find ways to entertain the local populace or provide goods and services that the locals cannot manage for themselves.
